El relato inicia la noche del 2 de octubre de 2017 cuando Santos perdió el plebiscito por la paz y comprende los siguientes meses, un período clave de su gobierno y que sintetiza la cúspide y desgaste de una de las figuras políticas más importantes y controvertidas de las últimas décadas. Cuatro años tomó llegar a un acuerdo para que la guerrilla de las FARC dejara las armas. ENGLISH DESCRIPTION The tale begins the night of October 2, 2017, when Santos lost the plebiscite for peace and spans the following months, a key period in his administration which encapsulates the peak and the winnowing down of one of the most important and controversial political figures in decades. It took four years to come to an agreement in which the FARC guerrilla would set down their weapons. María Jimena Duzán reconstructs the facts and people who surrounded what is considered the most important political news in contemporary Colombia and, in this context, presents the paradoxes that ended up shutting down its leader: Juan Manuel Santos.
